Mitsubishi owners were treated to a special gathering at the Mitsubishi North America headquarters in Cypress, CA for the 4th annual Mitsubishi Owners Day event. Hundreds of Evo’s, Galants, 3000GT’s, and Eclipses emerged on the large campus to exchange war stories, check out the vendor row, check HP numbers on the dyno, and take home a plethora of prizes and goodies. Vendors including HKS, AEM, Injen, Toyo Tires, Mackin Industries, 5Zigen, Cobb Tuning, and others came out to showcase their parts for the Evo X, 4G Eclipse, and other popular Mitsubishi cars. The Adio skate team came out to do a demo, and food was provided to all car owners. Mitsubishi even dug into their collection of showcars normally assigned to Auto Show duty to give enthusiasts a taste of past, present, and future offerings from the company.
Overall, the event was a huge success, with more than 600 cars filling the main lot and spilling over into several surrounding lots. Plans are already in the works for the 5th annual event, and we can’t wait! As cliché as it may be, expect each year to get bigger and better.
