Perhaps the satisfaction comes when it’s time to align the car. The smooth adjustments and now solid spherical rod ends make even tiny changes in toe and camber show up on the alignment machine instantly and consistently. When you’ve got the car setup just as you’d like it, it’s as easy as tightening the cap screw in the hybrid adjuster; no more worries about toe changes that will occur from tightening a jam nut!

So while it is important to have quality components (as the SPL arms no doubt are—the quality of the fabrication and machining is top notch and they use the best rod ends available), it’s critical that the suspension arms are easily adjustable, and it doesn’t hurt if they look good too. In the grand scheme of things, this ease of adjustment offered by SPL will save you money at the alignment shop, each and every time you align your car. Let’s not forget the peace of mind that comes from knowing you have the best materials available holding the wheels to your car.

In the case of the rear mid-link, SPL has an online, easy-to-use spring calculator that allows you to figure out exactly what length spring you need for a desired ride height range and spring rate, which means it’s just a matter of bolting the arm on with the spring perch at its middle ride height setting and fine-tuning from there.
