2010 Nissan GT-R - 2010 GT-R Flexes Muscle at Nürburgring
Spinout
Nissan returned to the storied German race course to test out the seemingly minor upgrades to the 2010 edition of its potent and affordable GT-R supercar. On paper the GT-R’s five additional horsepower, revised transmission programming, and updated suspension don’t come off as hard hitters.
Nevertheless Nissan’s efforts proved worthy as a bone stock 2010 shod with Spec-V rolling stock posted an impressive time of 7:27.56, besting the previous record by about 1.4 seconds.
The Nürburgring has become bragging rights central and the GT-R’s latest antics put it ahead of its benchmark the Porsche 911 GT2 but still a tick shy the Corvette ZR1 at 7:26.4.
